Silence falls around the table when croupier announces “No more bets”. It is a fascinating game that symbolises all the elegance and atmosphere of this legendary game…
The game begins when the croupier says “Place your bets”. You must then proceed to place the bets of your choice (see below). The croupier spins the ball around the roulette wheel with 37 sections numbered from 0 to 36. When it is about to make its last three rounds, the croupier says “No more bets” and you must stop placing bets. The ball is on the point of coming to rest: this is the moment when everyone holds their breath, their eyes riveted on the roulette wheel. The croupier announces the winning number. Losing bets are gathered in and winning bets are paid out.
Blackjack is one of the most popular casino games. Diamond Palace Casino offers the most traditional style using six decks. The object of the game is to reach a final score higher than the dealer without exceeding 21.
THE FOLLOWING RULES APPLY AT CASINO DIAMOND PALACE: Player can double down on any two cards. Player can split the first two cards if the cards have the same value, but no more than four hands can re-split. When splitting aces player receives only one card on each ace. (Aces may be re-split). Player is allowed to make a double down after a split. Surrender is offered to all players before the next card is taken from the shoe, after the initial deal. (If the dealer’s card is not an ace). Insurance is offered to all players when the dealer has an ace. (Even money is offered when the player has Blackjack).
Punto banco is being played on a 9 players table with 6 decks of cards. The goal of the game is to get a combination as close as possible to the sum of 9. "10" and "no value cards" have the value of "0" and the other cards have their respective values as shown.
Punto banco is dealt from a shoe containing 6 or 8 decks of cards shuffled together with 8 decks being most commonly used. A cut-card—a coloured (often yellow) piece of plastic, the same size as a regular card, and which is used in shuffling—is placed in front of the seventh-last card, and the drawing of the cut-card indicates the last coup of the shoe. For each coup, two cards are dealt face up (or equivalent) to each hand, starting from "player" and alternating between the hands. The croupier may call the total (e.g. "Five Player, three Banker"). If either Player or Banker or both achieve a total of 8 or 9 at this stage, the coup is finished and the result is announced: Player win, a Banker win, or tie. If neither hand has eight or nine, the drawing rules are applied to determine whether Player should receive a third card. Then, based on the value of any card drawn to the player, the drawing rules are applied to determine whether the Banker should receive a third card. The coup is then finished, the outcome is announced, and winning bets are paid out.
Try Russian Poker in Diamond Palace Casino and you will soon discover that this is a simple but nevertheless extremely interesting game with endless variations, a unique twist to your regular poker game.
To begin the game you should make your initial bet by placing chips in the first box (ANTE). If you are the only player you can play on up to four boxes at the same time. When playing on several boxes you are only allowed to see two hands and the others will remain blind. In the case of blind hands both bets – ANTE and BET – have to be made before the cards are dealt. The BET equals double the ANTE bet. The dealer will deal five cards to each player and for the dealer. The cards will be dealt face-down to the Players, while the last (fifth) card for the dealer will be face-up. In the case of an open hand after all cards have been dealt the player has the option of buying a sixth card or change 1 to 5 cards for a fee equalling the ANTE bet. Then you must consider your cards and decide whether you double your initial bet (by placing chips on the BET box) and continue to play or fold to surrender, losing the ANTE bet.
